Amenouzume


Asteroid 10804, Amenouzume was discovered November 23, 1992 by T. Urata at the Nihondaira Observatory.. It has a period of 4 years, 215 days and is slightly less than 6 miles in diameter.

It was named for Amenouzume, the Japanese goddess of dawn, mirth and revelry. .


The meaning of asteroid Amenouzue seems to be: throwing off restraint, partying, celebration, acting with abandon.
