Berrevoets

Asteroid 25331, Berrevoets, was discovered May 20, 1999 by James Roe at Oaxaca de Juarez, Oaxaca, Mexico. It has a period of 4 years, 167 days.

It was named for Dutch software developer Cor Berrevoets (born 1963), who developed the free image-processing program Registax for generating extremely high-resolution lunar and planetary images, as well as Aberrator, which shows the effects of distortion on telescope imagery.

The meaning of asteroid Berrevoets, according to Henk Middleraad, is: without support.
