Blarney

Asteroid 2320, Blarney, was discovered on August 29, 1979 by Paul Wild at Zimmerwald. It has a period of 5 years, 235 days and is 38.81 kilometers (about 24 miles) in diameter.

It was named for Blarney Castle near Cork, Ireland, a leading Irish tourist attraction famed for its Blarney Stone, a difficult-to-reach stone in the castle wall which, legend has it, confers extraordinary persuasive ability to those who kiss it.

The meaning of asteroid Blarney, according to Henk Middleraad, is: empty talk. Other possibilities include persuasion, sales pitches, glibness.
