Cleobulus

Asteroid 4503, Cleobulus, an Amor asteroid, was discovered on November 28, 1989 by Carolyn S. Shoemaker at Palomar Mountain Observatory near Pauma Valley, California. It has a period of 4 years, 166 days.

It was named for the dictator of Lindus on the Greek island of Rhodes, Cleobulus, one of the Seven Sages of Greece, a man renowned for the wisdom of his sayings, his skill with riddles and the beauty of his poetry.

Asteroid Cleobulus' astrological meaning seems to be: quotable, words that stick, that "have legs," "speaking in riddles."
