Dominguez

Asteroid 22685, Dominguez, was discovered on August 17, 1998 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) Team at Socorro, New Mexico. It has a period of 4 years, 343 days and is about 2 1/2 miles in diameter.

It was named for Miami middle-school student Isabella Rosa Dominguez (born 1991), who made finalist in the 2006 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge (DCYSC) for her botany and zoology project.

The astrological meaning of asteroid Dominguez seems to be: trying and failing to dominate, domination at a price.
