Echeclus

Asteroid 60558, Echeclus, a Centaur, was discovered March 3, 2000 by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak Observatory near Sells, Arizona. It has a period of 35 years, 133 days.

It was named for a centaur killed during the battle at the wedding of Pirithous, King of the Lapiths.

Astrologically, Echeclus seems to indicate turning point, stymied, conflict, beleaguered, endings, in a rut, bottled up, frustrated, at war with the world, taking on a lot, tilting at windmills, ability to handle frustration.

The glyph for Echeclus is mine.
