Eliane

Asteroid 1329, Eliane, was discovered on March 23, 1933 by Eugene Delporte at Uccle, Belgium. It has a period of 4 years, 85 days and is slightly over 12 miles in diameter.

It was named for Eliane Bourgeois, the daughter of one of Delporte's colleagues, Paul Bourgeois.

The meaning of asteroid Eliane seems to be:up against, taking sides (Damian Foor);inverted with significance, blown out of proportion, heavy, histrionics, less support than believed, weighed in the balance and found wanting, no special treatment.
