Asteroid 25157, Fabian, was discovered on September 16, 1998 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object Search (LONEOS) at the Anderson Mesa Station. It has a period of 5 years, 179 days.

It was named for British X-ray astronomer Andrew Fabian (born 1948).
