Gonzales


Asteroid 15628, Gonzales, was discovered April 29, 2000 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) Team at Socorro, New Mexico. It has a period of 3 years, 105 days and is slightly less than 1 1/2 miles in diameter.

It was named for San Antonio middle school student Eric A. Gonzales, a finalist in the 2001 Discovery Young Scientist Challenge (DYSC).

Astrologically, asteroid Gonzales seems to indicate iconic, objectified, stsreotyped, to sojourn, to be confined.
