Icke

Asteroid number 7508, Icke, was discovered October 16, 1977 by CJ van Houten, Ingrid van Houten-Groeneveld, and Tom Gehrels at Palomar Mountain Observatory. It has a period of 4 years, 250 days.

It was named for Dutch astronomer Vincent Icke (born 1946), an astronomy popularizer and specialist in theoretical investigations of celestial bodies.

Vincent Icke
