Incidentia

Asteroid 3849, Incidentia, was discovered on March 31, 1984 by Edward "Ted" Bowell at the Anderson Mesa unit of Lowell Observatory near Flagstaff, Arizona. It has a period of 3 years,336 days and is about 3 3/5 miles in diameter.

It was named for a music school established by astronomer Roger W. Martin, who was also a musician.

Astrologically, the influence of asteroid Incidentia seems to be: incidental, an incident, "to make an issue of something."
