Indulgentia

Asteroid 90703, Indulgentia, was discovered September 8, 1988 by Freimut Börngen at Tautenburg, Thuringia, Germany. It has a period of 4 years, 60 days and is about 2 1/5 miles in diameter.

Its name is the Latin word for "indulgence."

Henk Middelraad says that Indulgentia signifies indulgence in certain activities; it can also possibly indicate other forms of indulgence, such as those given in its MPC citation: goodness, kindness, love, tenderness or fondness [or] the gratification of another's desires, inclinations or humors.
