Ismene

Asteroid 190, Ismene, was discovered on September 22, 1878 by CHP Peters at Clinton, New York. It has a period of 7 years, 351 days and is slightly less than 99 miles in diameter.

It was named for Ismene, the sister of Antigone and daughter of Oedipus in Greek mythology.

Astrologically, asteroid Ismene seems to be about submissive, passive, complaisant, adaptable; perhaps also, being supportive by taking responsibility along with another or others (perhaps en masse), being a compliant citizen.
