Asteroid 6413, Iye, was discovered on October 11, 19993 by Kin Endate and Kazuro Watanabe at Kitami, Hokkaido, Japan. It has a period of 3 years, 143 days and is about 3 1/3 miles in diameter.
It was named for Japanese astronomer Masanori Iye (born 1949),a specialist in the structure and evolution of galaxies who has also worked on engineering teams building telescopes.

Masanori Iye
Astrologically, asteroid Iye seems to be about "aye," "oh, yeah,""yeah, right"; perhaps also, telescope engineering or the study of galactic structure and evolution.
