Asteroid 3362, Khufu, an Aten asteroid, was discovered on August 30, 1984 by R. Scott Dunbar and Maria A. Barucci at the Palomar Observatory near Pauma Valley, California. It has a period of 359 days and is about half a mile in diameter.

It was named for the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu (aka Cheops), builder of the Great Pyramid.

Astrologically, asteroid Khufu seems to indicate building, building big things (or wanting to) or possibly dreaming big dreams.

The glyph for Khufu is mine.
