Asteroid 7226, Kryl, was discovered October 8, 1879 by Antonin Mrkos at Klet Observatory near Ceske Budojevice, Czech Republic. It has a period of 5 years, 291 days and is about 10 miles in diameter.
It was named for Czech poet and singer-songwriter Karel Kryl (1944-1994), a leading performer of protest songs aimed mainly at the communist regimes in Czechoslovakia, but also at the government that followed the collapse of communism in his homeland.

Karel Kryl
The meaning of asteroid Kryl seems to be fish food (Damien Foor), to make hash of, crush, squash, get eaten; possibly, political protest poetry and music.
