Asteroid 13610, Lilienthal, was discovered on October 5, 1994 by Friedrich Borngen at Tautenburg, Thuringen, Germany. It has a period of 3 years, 256 days and is about 2 1/5 miles in diameter.
It was named for German engineer and aviation pioneer Otto Lilienthal (1848-1896), who flew successfully thousands of times in gliders before the Wright brothers made their successful motor-powered airplane flight and ended up getting killed when one of his gliders crashed.

Otto Lilienthal
Astrologically, asteroid Lilienthal seems to indicate aviation (especially gliders), to coast, to glide, to be killed or harmed by one's own creation, to sacrifice in the service of knowledge or progress, innovative, ingenious..
The glyph for Lilienthal is mine.
