
Asteroid 33713, Mithravamshi, was discovered June 9, 1999 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) Team at Socorro, New Mexico.It has a period of 3 years, 275 days and is about 2 3/5 miles in diameter.
It was named for Portland, Oregon middle school student Mithra Vamshi Karamchedu (born 2003), who was a finalist in the 2017 Broadcom MASTERS, a math and science competition for middle school students, for his environmental and earth sciences project.
