Asteroid 22540, Mork, was discovered on March 20, 1998 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team (LINEAR) at Socorro, New Mexico. It has a period of 4 years,320 days.

It was named for Seattle high school student and science-fair contestant Anna Mork (born 1988), who was a finalist in the 2006 Intel Science Talent Search.
