NEAT

Asteroid 64070, NEAT, was discovered on September 24, 2001 by Charles W. Juels and Pedro R. Holvorcem at Fountain Hills, Arizona. It has a period of 3 years, 311 days.

It was named for the Near Earth Asteroid Tracking (NEAT) program. A joint venture of the United States Air Force and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NEAT has discovered numerous asteroids and a number of comets since it began operations in December 1995.

Its astrological meaning, though, seems to be what its name suggests: that which is neat.

The glyph for NEAT is mine.
