Asteroid 5011, Ptah, an Apollo asteroid, was discovered September 24, 1960 by C.J. Van Houten, Ingrid Van Houten-Groeneveld and Tom Gehrels at Palomar Observatory near Pauma Valley, California. It has a period of 2 years, 33 days; irregularly shaped, it is about 4/5 mile to just under 2 miles in diameter.
It was named for the Egyptian god Ptah, the creator and builder god.
Ptah
Astrologically, Ptah seems to have to do with arts and crafts, creativity, building, getting a craft or trade.
The glyph for Ptah is mine and is based on the djed, ancient Egyptian symbol for the god Ptah.
