Revelle


Asteroid 13358, Revelle was discovered on October 14, 1998 by Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object Search (LONEOS) at the Anderson Mesa unit of Lowell Observatory near Flagstaff, Arizona. It has a period of 4 years, 128 days and is about 4 2/3 miles in diameter.

It was named for American physicist Douglas O. ReVelle (1945-2010).
