
Asteroid 33725, Robertkent, was discovered July 13, 1999 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) Team at Socorro, New Mexico. It has a period of 5 years, 108 days and is about 3 1/5 miles in diameter.
It was named for Chesterland, Ohio middle-school student and science-fair contestant Robert Kent (born 2002), who was a finalist in the 2017 Broadcom MASTERS, a math and science competition for middle school students, for his environmental and earth sciences project.
