Stoops


Asteroid 22594, Stoops, was discovered April 23, 1998 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) Team at Socorro, New Mexico. It has a period of 3 years, 257 days.

It was named for Seattle high school teacher Tracy Stoops,who mentored a finalist in the 2006 Intel Science Talent Search science competition.
