Asteroid 33154, Talent, was discovered on February 22, 1998 by the Near-Earth Asteroid Tracking (NEAT) project at Haleakala Observatory near Kula,Hawaii on Maui. It has a period of 4 years, 83 days.

It was named for American space physicist David L. Talent; he headed the contractor team which set up the AMOS telescope on Haleakala in the late 1990s.
