Tancredi

Asteroid 5088, Tancredi, was discovered on August 22, 1979 by Claes-Ingvar Lagerkvist at the European Southern Observatory at La Silla Mountain near Pedernales, Coquimbo, Chile. It has a period of 5 years, 75 days.

It was named for Uruguayan astronomer Gonzalo Tancredi, who, like Lagerkvist, worked at Sweden's Uppsala Observatory.

Gonzalo Tancredi

Astrologically, Tancredi seems to indicate crusading, or, zealotry..

The glyph for Tancredi is mine.
