Ursa

Asteroid 1838, Ursa, was iscovered 1971-Oct-20 by Paul Wild at Zimmerwald. It has a period of 5 years, 280 days and is 34.87 kilometers in diameter

It was named for Wild's wife Ursula Wild, their son Urs Wild, and for the bears from which Bern, Switzerland derives its name. Ursa is Latin for "bear."

The astrological meaning of Ursa seems to be: having to do with bears, "a bear," like a bear, "like a bear is chasing him."
