Asteroid 5674, Wolff, was discovered on September 6, 1986 by Edward Bowell at the Anderson Mesa unit of Lowell Observatory near Flagstaff, Arizona. Wolff has a period of 3 years, 227 days.

It was named after John M. Wolff, a trustee of the Wolff Foundation, a philanthropic organization established by Wolff's father which is a benefactor of the arts, disabled and sick children, and Lowell Observatory.
