Asteroid 15745, Yuliya, was discovered on August 3, 1991 by Eric W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory. It has a period of 2 years, 93 days.

It was named for Yuliya Germanova (born 1986), who served as a translator at the 2013 First International Conference on the Chelyabinsk/Chebarkul Meteor/Meteorite.

The meaning of asteroid Yuliya (Russian for Julia) seems to be: youth, children, rejuvenation, renewal, "a shot in the arm."
