Zulu

Asteroid 1922, Zulu, was discovered on April 25, 1949 by EL Johnson at Johannesburg. It has a period of 5 years, 301 days.

It was named for the South African ethnic group or tribe; Johnson chose this name to honor some of the employees at Johannesburg Observatory who were Zulu.

The astrological meaning of asteroid Zulu zeems to be: getting physical, something from which something is reckoned, "it's a jungle out there," determined resistance, having to do with the Zulu people.
