Birgit


Asteroid 960, Birgit, was discovered on October 1, 1921 by Karl Reinmuth at Heidelberg, Germany. It has a period of 3 years, 136 days and is about 4 2/3 miles in diameter.

It was named after Birgit Asplind, a daughter of Swedish astronomer Bror Ansgar Asplind.

Astrologically, Birgit seems to indicate being exalted(Henk Middelraad).
