DiNovis

Asteroid 22632, DiNovis, was discovered on May 22, 1998 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) Team at Socorro, New Mexico. It has a period of 3 years, 306 days.

It was named for Centereach, New York high school teacher Joanne DiNovis, who mentored a finalist in the 2006 Intel Science Talent Search.

The meaning of asteroid DiNovis seems to be: starting anew, starting over, starting again, new beginnings, change; possibly, de novo genetic conditions (not inherited).
